Adventures in Murkland Post Apocalyptic

He did not forget me! I was worried over nothing. Yea he did not turn around to see who was in his home but the look on his face when he saw me was priceless. Now for the long a waited kiss. Wait! He did not have a tattoo when I last saw him! He didn't have a beard either but it looks good on him. Can't wait to see what happens next.

It seemed like I was standing there for ever before he turned around to see who walked into his house. I wasn't sure if my heart was going to stop or explode. No anger for not finding him sooner but a huge hug! Speaking of huge he didn't even mention my weight so maybe he doe not care after all what size I am.

So I went in and closed the door behind me. Looking around I saw he did not have much but with the times were in I'm not surprised. He was always a neat guy didn't keep a messy room. Plus side his butt still looks good. Let's just hope he has not lost any feelings towards me.

So, I knocked on the door and all he said was come in. I shouldn't be nervous but part of me wondered if it was really him or not. I just stood there like an idiot staring at the back of him while he cooked. Does not look like he has changed much but an apocalypse can change people. It changed me. I am not the same as I was when I last saw him. Nothing bad just able to handle situations a lot better then I used to.

God why am I so nervous. I should not be.  I can not tell you how many times I turned around and started to walk away. But why should I? I should not be nervous.

I have been working hard on running, collecting and playing my violin. This bear let me tell you on my last day has been a pain in the Murk! It keeps following me every where like a lost puppy. Wheres a man when I need one to chase it off?

Well I got tired of running so while I was at the hermits I thought it would be nice to practice. At least here I don't have to worry about people bothering me and I can practice in silence. It may not seem like much just a violin but it keeps me sane during these quests the Mayor has me doing.

So as you know I have been on a quest to lose weight for Derrick even though he doesn't know I am over weight. Ya know I am sure he would still love me no matter what my size is. Any who, while waiting for those blasted dragon flies I thought it would be run to just run all over the forest.

So one of the remedies I want to make involve catching dragon flies! I love those little critters. So much fun to watch them fly around and in a sense play with you. While I search for them I decided running would be my best option and it seems to be helping out! Getting closer to my goal of being thin again. Now, where did I see that dragon fly yesterday?

So I have been working on my boxing skill and struggling. Don noticed I was having trouble and decided to help me out. Now my hands and wrists don't hurt as much with his help on how to properly use the punching bag. I really want to lose this weight for Derrick so I won't look like a beached whale.

Now that I live at the gym its time to start new things. I have seen people using the boxing bag so I thought why not give it a shot. Never know I may like it! I'm sure it will help me get in shape.

Well not much to tell. Been running around collecting plants and trying to catch fire flies which is harder then you think. Was leaving the hermits I passed out again. I seem to do that a lot but then again I have been working a lot harder since the apocalypse. 

Now that I am at the gym and have all those planters it was time to head back to Granite Falls to collect more stuff and try to find some dragon flies. I did run into the park ranger when I was cooking some potatoes and decided to talk to her. I hope I can find everything I need but I have a feeling I will be coming back here to get more dragon flies.

While I was exploring the gym further I found a basement room which was a bit strange. It has these weird yellow things on the walls that give off light and there are dragon fly cages every where. Behind that there is an area with a bunch of planter boxes. I now have somewhere to put my plants so I can make my two remedies. It will be interesting to see how the plants grow down here.

 Now that I live at the gym I am hoping to find dishes people have cooked already. But for now I will cook my first meal here. As busy as this place is I should have no trouble finding people to talk to. I did hear rumors that Derrick is still alive. Possibly in Nukecrest. 

 Since I have finished the first part of the Mayors little quests now I have moved to the gym. From here I can work out and sell my stuff. Also, hopefully no one find my journal but I'm planning on going to Granite Falls to get the ingredients to make the deodorant remedy and I'm thinking of doing the energizing one to. We will have to see. Now I can work on getting in shape!

So I have finally finished the first part of the mayors quests to become a permanent resident. I now have sixteen perfect trash fruit plant's. It took a lot of work but it paid off. Now off to find out what I need to do next.

So while I was enjoying my trip to grass land in Murkland I had a man come up to fish with me. I believe his name is Mad Mud but to be honest with some of the strange names I have heard I don't remember if that's right. Either way it was nice to have someone to talk to. Oh, I saw my reflection again. This weight thing is getting out of control let me tell you.

While I wandered around the different areas of Murkland I found a pond behind where the raccoons live to fish. I just hope they don't mind me being here. It is nicer then the desert are I live near by. The grass felt really nice under my feet compared to the sand and dirt.

Okay, so the entire time I have been in Murkland I found a Bone Fish. You know the one you can eat. He is so cute. I don't have the heart to eat him. From this day forth you shall be known as! Mr. Bones! I do know I could have bought one but I really wanted to try and catch him. I think I was using trash fruit as bait. Derrick would not have approved but may have thought otherwise in this day and age.

So, we are allowed to fish but we can only eat bone fish. So far I have not caught one. Not sure if I would eat it if I caught it. Could always keep it as a pet and talk to it when I am bored. Fishing it turns out is rather soothing and fun. At least I am able to get away from the smell of my home. Still have no idea why it smells so bad. Derrick would be proud to see me fishing. He would beg me in the past to go with him but I never wanted to. If I ever find him I won't refuse again.

So, once again I worked my self into passing out in the middle of Murkland. I really need to stop doing this. Time to start going to bed earlier so I wont pass out in random places. So embarrassing. DERRICK!!!!!!!

Man, I don't know how much more I can stand of this mess. The house has a god awful smell that makes a chili fart seem tame. It does not help that I need a shower so I thought I would come down to the creek and start practicing. I did notice in my reflection is I have gained more weight.

For a while now I have been looking for something to do other then my usual duties. There are some down times and I heard about this store. So I decided to check it out and they had violins. I always wanted to learn but my parents said they were to expensive. I can't wait to get home and start playing. I chose a blue one. 

Well, after a long week of working hard I needed to get out of the tent. So I decided to go to the CDC club and dance the night away. Apparently I danced a bit to long. I did not even make it to the front door before I passed out asleep on the floor! God so embarrassing! Where's Derrick when I need him to carry me home!? DERRICK!!!!

Wow, I saw my reflection in the creek and saw how much weight I have put on. This is not good! I have always been really good about not gaining weight. I sure don't want Derrick to see me like this! Time to start running to various places around town! Plus its not healthy to be over weight. Time to start making healthier choices. (I my self am obese. This post is by no means a body shaming post just one where my sim realizes she has gained to much weight and needs to lose it)

I got everything I needed done that day. God knows it took forever! The sun was starting to set so I thought it would be neat to dance around the fire. I have not done that in so long. I will have to do that more often. It was rather relaxing.

Once again it is time for every one's favorite time of day. Yard Sale!!!!! Hopefully this time I collected things people will be more likely to buy. I need money like yesterday!

Some may find gardening to be dull and boring and I was one of them. But turns out its pretty soothing. Caring for the plants keeping them watered. I hope the Mayor let's us plant other things later on. Who knows maybe I can create my own little garden area where I can sit among them and read or something.
