Adventures in Murkland Post Apocalyptic

It has been a quiet few days but I did run into another citizen of Murkland. I'm glad to see I am not the only one who runs around barefoot. Mom would have died if she saw how I am living now. Dad would have laughed and joined me in the fun of exploring Murkland. This lady reminds me of a gypsy.

So, last night I couldn't sleep. I needed to get some fish in hopes to sell it on my yard sale table. It was rather soothing. Now I understand why Derrick and my dad would go out late at night or the crack of dawn to go fishing. Each day that passes I miss Derrick and my family even more. I know I will never see my parents again but maybe I will get the chance to see Derrick again.

Living in the city I used to drag Derrick outside to try and watch the stars and never could. While wandering around I found this creek. I decided to lay down and see if I could see any stars now that I'm away from the city. I'm slowly starting to really like this place. 

Okay so now I have a problem. I HAVE TO PEE!!!! There are no toilets in my house! I was starting to freak out and Rain and Storm told me that pretty bush with the pink flowers was my toilet. A BUSH!!!! I don't know if I will ever get used to this. Derrick would have laughed at me over this. I never did really like camping and now I have to live a campers life.

Now that everyone is gone I can start making trash plants. Now if only they would stay in the same spot. I wonder how long it will take and how bad the fruit will taste. Not really looking  forward to it but in times like this you can not be picky about where your food comes from.

My new friends have finally gone. Now I can take some time for myself. Man it seems like they were here all day not that I minded the company. They did tell me I have to grow trash plants. Looks like I have a few plants on my table already! The part I am not looking forward to is eating the fruit from the trash plants. Oh and don't bother with cell phones they don't work here either. Guess I wont know what happened to my friends or my boyfriend. I really miss him a lot. I miss my friends to.

So Vardo along with Rain and Storm made food. One Made a hot  dog for himself while the other made grilled chicken for everyone. It was so good. I had no idea food made on a grill could be so good. I will have to see how long this food he made will last. So far I like these guys, they are pretty cool. I wonder who else I will meet around Murkland.

Not that I mind but the neighbors did make them selves at home. One lit the camp fire which I was glad for. I had no clue how to get that started. One other person decided to cook on the grill and the blue Mohawk lady got some food out of that cooler. Looks like I have a few choices, but they did say the only fish I could eat was bone fish. Now that I think about it, it totally makes sense. I saw a few who died from eating other types of fish.

Its  not much but this is my new home. I can make this work. Who knows maybe I can get a better house one day.

Apparently  having to use a bush for a toilet around here is normal. Every one was cool about it when I left the bush. Granted some of the people have interesting looks everyone seems to be very friendly. But then again I am rocking my burgundy pixie hair so I can't really judge anyone else.

Okay, so you won't believe this! I had to pee real bad and there is not a toilet in sight. Apparently one of the neighbors who stopped by with the welcome wagon told me that pretty bush behind the fence is my toilet! Now I am starting to wonder if I can survive this new world. I mean come on how can you not have a freaking toilet! Whats next Baths on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the local creek?!

So after the lady came by more people showed up! This place really seems to be friendly and I think I will fit in just fine here. I was a little worried this place might be just like willow springs. Looks like I was wrong.  Plus my new house has my favorite game!

Okay so the raccoon left and now more neighbors are stopping by. Looks like I am not the only one who left with out their shoes on. Hopefully everything goes well. I still have yet to check out my tiny home. Not to sure about that pink flowering bush behind the grill though.

I don't know a whole lot about the mutant people and animals around here but I hope this one won't hurt me. It seems pretty friendly. I suppose in time I will find out. No one else seems to scream, turn around and run in terror the other way far away from the raccoon.

I just arrived at my new home. I was just about to look around the small lot when a green raccoon came up and greeted me. I don't know what to expect here but first person I meet is a mutant raccoon. It seems friendly. Although next on my list I need to find a pair of shoes. When I left home I did not have time to find a pair of shoes or go back into my house.

Hi! My name is Raven Stone. I have just moved here to Murkland as it looks to be the safest town since the apocalypse hit Sim Nation. I suppose you want to learn a bit more about me.  I once lived in Willow Springs before the apocalypse with my parents. I was just about to move out when it happened. My dad rushed us to the bunker in the backyard but my mom had fallen prompting my dad to go back and get her. He had slammed the bunker door shut before going back for her once I was inside. Minutes turned into hours and hours into days. You get the idea. My parents never made it back to the bunker. When I emerged I found them dead huddled under the back deck. I could not leave them so I dug a grave big enough for both and buried them and placed a marker. Who knows perhaps one day I will be able to go back home and visit them. It was not long before I found out the hard way that Willow Springs was no longer safe. I went out searching for my friends and boyfriend only to fin...
